GENERAL
Responsibilities:
Develops program language, selects tooling to match program, equipment, and job specifications.
Maintains and adjusts (as needed) and operates (if necessary) any and all CNC turning centers.
Responsible for processing quality work.
Work procedures for these operations must follow standardized methods in a clearly prescribed sequence.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Required to successfully develop, execute, and maintain all programs for CNC turning centers -- to include full C axis, sub-spindle, and live tooling.
Required to be proficient with all related system hardware, software, and Siemens and Emotronic T1 controls including all established system protocols.
Required to scope all tooling and adjust and repairs to equipment as needed.
Required to select raw material, speeds, feeds, coolants, tooling, and plan operational sequence on the above mentioned equipment.
Must be able to instruct all operators on the above-mentioned pieces of equipment in department 25 in regards to job standards, job sequence, job safety, efficient operational sequence, and assist Supervisor in job assignments.
Works to close tolerances and uses precision instruments and gauges to inspect work.
Required to maintain an appropriate, clean, and safe work environment.

PRE-DERMINED
Qualifications:
Regular Attendance.
Manufacturing Process Aptitude.
Possess the knowledge of, and ability to use, a variety of hand tools, related manufacturing equipment, measuring devices, and material handling equipment.
Ability to make sound judgment based on consistent and objective measures.
Ability to evaluate established tolerances and standards (whether descriptive or based on actual measurements).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to sit or stand for 8 consecutive hours.
Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.
Ability to safely lift 25lbs.

Ability to bring items into sharp focus visually.
Ability to feel and detect subtle material defects.
Frequent kneeling, crouching, bending, stooping, reaching, and pushing carts.
Required to properly dispose of or recycle any scrap material generated by any assigned production operation, and are required to maintain an appropriate, clean and safe work environment.
Exposure to manufacturing environment, including dust, noise and vibration.
