Final Assembly GENERAL
Responsibilities:
Performs Final Assembly operations on instruments.
Wiping and Inspecting instruments following Plating operations and in preparation to ship.
Complies with Eastlake Policies and Procedures, and with functional and cosmetic quality standards.
Complies with all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Installs accessory parts to finished assembled instruments, adjusts all to provide good function.
Grinds or hones valves and pistons to proper clearance.
May be by hand or machine Laps some piston guide keys.
Washes instruments and parts free of lapping compound.
Must check machining on piston parts and casings and action of valves and slides.
Inspects horns for dents and defects.
Complies with Eastlake Policies and Procedures, and with functional and cosmetic quality standards.
Sort parts and may be required to measure pistons.
PRE-DETERMINED
Qualifications:
Ability to use a variety of measuring tools (Thickness Gauge, Calipers, Micrometers, etc.
) Manufacturing Process aptitude.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously.
Ability to make sound judgment based on consistent and objective measures.
Regular attendance.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to perform repetitive work.
Ability to sit or stand for 8 consecutive hours.
Ability to safely lift 40lbs.

Ability to feel and detect subtle material defects.
Exposure to manufacturing environment, including dust, noise and vibration.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
