Responsibilities:
Operating rotary transfer machine (ACME GRIDLEY) Monitoring cycle time to meet standards Operating bench grinder and surface grinder to sharpen tools Maintaining cleanliness of equipment, work area, and gage stations Reading blueprints for product specifications Positioning and securing tools in tool holders per tooling layout Ensuring machine performs to quality control plan & quality check sheets Qualifications 5-10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating machine instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to write routine correspondence Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
