Accounting Assistant
Responsibilities:
Credit card reconciliation Maintenance billing Water/sewer account oversight Review and process tenant rental applications General journal entries Gift card reconciliations Construction invoicing Filing Mailing vendor payments Qualifications High school degree or equivalent 2-4 years of office experience in bookkeeping/accounting Skilled in verbal and written communication, customer service and time management Team player; works well with all levels of organization and external contacts Strong computer skills (Google Docs/Microsoft Office) and highly adaptable to new software Ability to produce error-free work and to adapt quickly to new work assignments/situations Possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills Smartland Capital stands at the forefront of real estate investment, specializing in the strategic management of a diverse portfolio that includes both multifamily and single-family properties.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
