We are currently seeking an Engineering Support Specialist for our Eastlake, Ohio facility. This individual will be responsible for all aspects of engineering support. The associate should be able to perform many of the tasks expected of an engineer and typically will work at the instruction of a manufacturing engineer.
The essential functions
Create, control, and revise work instructions, processes and procedures detailing operation sequences
Engineering change documentation, time studies, assembly instructions, etc
Provides suggestions and feedback to Engineers on areas of improvements regarding processes and tooling.
Assist and looks for opportunities in the implementation of ergonomically and efficient workstations and general work environment.
Requirements:
Knowledge and understanding of general manufacturing techniques
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (JIT, Set-Up Reduction, etc)
Excellent communication skills with ability to interface effectively with coworkers
Able to use Microsoft Word and Excel
